Hi guys, new owner here.

I was always fond of the older X5's fitted with side running boards but i noticed that there was very few E70's fitted with them.

The car i bought didnt come with them either and its something ive been contemplating. Is side boards somthing the E70 does suit and best left to the RR's.

If anyone has a space grey MSport with them fitted i would love to see a few pictures or even the best place to buy them. I've seen them on EBay but I'm not sure on the quality and I'd imagine direct from BMW would be an arm and a leg.

can only be fitted to the se's not the M Sport as what i learned on here is that the M Sport is wider at the rear wheel arches.

Ah ok, glad you told me that as I did not know that.

and, although the running boards look nice the only thing they are good for is getting your trouser leg dirty as you step in or out - as for average height people the car just isnt that high up that you would actually step on the board.
