Main Dealers will all use Mobil 1 to LL04 at the moment as the deal with Castrol ended and the deal with Mobil started. Not sure how long the deal with Mobil runs for but it will be the best oil for any BMW until the deal runs out.
As for 0w 30 or 5w 30 it makes sod all difference in our climate.
Best advice is to use any decent brand of LL04 of either 0w 30 or 5w 30.

On the basis that 100k miles later the block is well run in, I have just done a change with Motul LL04 specific 5w-40. Being slightly thicker when warm should mean less consumed and a little better lubrication at the expense of more frictional losses (worse mpg, less power).
