Dear All , Need help and guidance !!
Almost 9 -10 days ago I noticed that the rear wheels (Both) arches were sitting really low ! In the morning i turned the car on and could hear the air compressor working hard to raise wheels etc.... So the wheels where in the correct level until yesterday, when i noticed that they where sagging again ?
I believe both nights etc the weather was on the minus ???
Having done the research, looks like that the BMW X5 E70 Rear Air Spring (Air Suspension Bag) have failed ?? Or is it the hose from the compressor that has failed ( got a hole in it ??)
Would be awesome if i could get better wisdom on this issue before trying to resolve matters !!

Hi and welcome to the forum. It seems like the E70 airbags aren't as good as the E53 ones as they are failing in greater numbers are an earlier age. Fill a spray bottle with fairy liquid mixed with water and spray around the airbags, this will probably reveal the culprit.
There are two alternative makes of airbag you can buy, arrnot and another which I can't remember the name, there was a post recently too. I will try to find it.
Best to change both sides together as if ones gone the other will probably be shot too.
