The time has come to put my x5 Carbon Black Edition up for sale. I am a BMW qualified mechanic and I bought the car as a little project. I have completed all the work it needed and am ready to give it to a good home.
It is a September 03 registration with 125k on the clock and a private plate. The car is in really good condition for its age/mileage.
Specification-
Exterior colour: Carbon Black
Interior colour: Champagne Leather
Wheels are 20inch 5 spoke. with correct tyre specification: The fronts
tyres are 275/40r20 non run flat with plenty of tread left, Rears are 315/35r20 non run flat, also with plenty of tread. The wheels have a very small amount of curb marks, as expected with older cars. I can provide pictures on request.
This car has every option possible including-

Bluetooth
Heated seats
Xenon headlight with headlight wash
Privacy Glass
DSP
Sunroof
If you want a full specification I can get one from BMW.
I have recently replaced the battery with a brand new one as the old battery had seen better days.
I have also replaced the following:
Front hydro mounts/thrust arm bushes.
All rear axle carrier bushes as theses are common faults in the X5
Brake fluid change
Coolant change
New expansion tank
Rear drivers door lock
New painted boot handle
New nearside rear lamp unit and wiring. again common issue
I have replaced both the front and rear emblems as the previous owner had fitted carbon ones, I wanted to return the car to its original condition
Replaced n/s/f C.V Boot
New window switch pack in drivers door.
Re gassed air conditioning
I have also carried out a 'full inspection 2 service' to BMW standard.
I have the BMW receipt for these parts, and I carried out all the work myself.
As with a vehicle this age it has a few tiny scratches and the interior is a little worn but nothing that cant be repaired easily. I think it adds character!
The car does only have one key and I don't have the book pack or any service history prior to my ownership.
There is a very small scuff on the rear bumper and just below the rear lamp on the off side, some of the pixels on the cluster are missing but I have purchased a repair kit for this, so time permitting, I may have this done prior to sale. If not the kit will be included in the price. I am open to offers but nothing silly as I am in no major rush to sell. and even at the asking price I will be losing money, considering the work I have done and new parts I have bought.
