Hi fellow xers

Whilst rounding a roundabout the other night my satnav screen flickered lines and went blank (but was still led backlight). After a few seconds it all rebooted back to life working usual ... Then i tried the digital TV, when selecting from the computer menu to TV tuner it flickered lines and went black.... But moving the buttons it would show teletext numbers in the corner but no TV features/channels, I found if I used the TV button in the back of the car it would display features/channels for a second then go black/teletext again.
If selected menu to turn off the tuner and go back to normal computer graphic screens it would scramble lines on the screen for a split second then go back to graphics screen.

I left ignition off for a few minutes and now all is back to usual. When changing back from TV tuner to graphics screens its very quick again.

Only thing I would say is that in the weeks I've owned the car I'm sure I've seen the display scramble/shutdown and come back on once or twice.

Thanks again guys and sorry for the essay hope it makes sense :)

my screen has been blanking out for a few seconds every now and then for years, ive just got used to it, I've checked all connections behind screen and in the boot but cannot fathom why it does it.

Mine did that with an older firmware on a backup map disc. Maybe try a different disc from a trusted source.
