Hello there,
I have recently bought myself an X5 Le Mans 3.0D, I was searching the web for a decent forum, always the best place to get info on a new car purchase, and came across this one, liked it and gleened enough info from reading through many posts to make my choice.

I have come back to BMW after many yrs of driving a varied array of cars from a Nissan Sunny(just started a new business) through porsches, mercs, Landrovers, I live in the sticks, 2 Jags including the wonderful XFR and now my X5. Two main reasons for the jump from the XFR to the X5 is the Reccession and the snow!! BTW haven't had a problem with her in the snow so far.

I will try and get some pics up soon.

Neill

Welcome to the forum Neill - glad to have you aboard. Lots to read here - will ask what you have planned for your X when you've had time to read forum content.

Coming to the next Meet perhaps?

Welcome. :D Nice ride too. This site is full of friendly folks only too willing to help one another. It's certainly saved me a few quid and possibly some of my experiences have helped others.

Thanks Guys,
I am enjoying reading through all the posts, there is a lot of info on here! As for mods, gonna keep it simple for now, would love an ipod interface but can't stretch to an Intravee which appears to be the best. Would also love to put some rear screens in and put my sons PS2 in but really have not a clue where to start.

Where is the next meet?? Any up here in Scotland.

I think Bristol is much too far for you! Next one is on March the 19th...

Search for a forum member called 'Jeegnesh' and PS2 media or thereabouts and you'll find the mod detailed...
