LOL. Sadly had to make space, but if I had space, would have kept it.

A shame re the damage but I dont see that as a negative reflection on seller....He will have done the maths and has decided to sell it damaged. It has had some money spent on it by the seller and is being honest re what it needs.

As for whether the advertised pricee is reasonable may be another issue, however, the guy isnt forcing anyone to buy.

The use of your pics and prior advert  wording perhaps cheeky assuming abscence of permission and arguably pics should all be recent unless declared as reused/old.

To me it is now a £3 - 3.5k  car as it arguably needs £1.5k spend for paint rubber and cooling issues and assuming it wants little more. I note he seems open  to negotiation.

Dont beat yourself up re this.....the seller may have had great intentions to ensure it wanted for nothing but circumstances may make it more viable to move on without sorting the disclosed issues.

I hope an enthusiast with suitably deep pockets and comitment to return it to former glory buys this.

Like me you know your cars, values and whats required to keep things good. Our weakness is perhaps emotional attachment to what we own or have owned ;
