Hi Everyone

I'm new to the forum and have recently purchased a 2009 BMW X5 3.0i M Sport (although waiting to pick it up from the dealer) so looking to seek some guidiance on how to replace the aluminium trip on the doors/dashboard as the one presently there has some scratches which makes i look rough.

I've gone through the forum and found some useful posts on this however, I wanted to find out if anyone has their's removed and wrapped. I'm looking to wrap mine in carbon fibre so it blends with the black leather interior. I was intially going to purchase from BMW but it will cost a small fortune to replace all so looking for an alternatives.

I'm in London so if anyone has wrapped their's and recommend anyone around london area to do mine that will be awesome, alternatively if anyone has trims for sale at a reasonable amount then happy to discuss.

Thanks

I know it's been done, do a google search and you will find guys in the US who have completed it. I looked into it a few months back and the main feedback was the work involved removing the central trim is quite involved, if you can find a local firm who will wrap whilst the trim is in place it should take less time and cost less to complete.
