Post edited- more issues with my X

Post by paddy wright » Sun Mar 29, 2015 2:37 pm

Hi all, been away from the forum due to work and family commitments.  Had several things fixed under warranty again since I was last here- had the panoramic roof sorted as it stuck open- 3 weeks at main dealer- £3.5k job- thank goodness for warranty.  Still need to get them to investigate the sinking rear as they replaced airbag but it still squats down when parked.  It sits level adn you can see it rise as soon as ignition is turned on.

Other news- finally got the beetle back for the Mrs after it needed the airbag module repaired and sadly ran into the back of someone in the z which is gonna cost a few quid to fix.

Anyway- nice to be back on the forum.  :D

Re: Back again- more woes now!

Post by paddy wright » Wed Apr 15, 2015 10:06 pm

So after finally thinking the X was all back to being my luxo barge it now has shat itself again with letting water in and soaking the TV/video module!  BMW are taking it back in again- best not start with water ingress not covered on AUC crap! Had a new TV module for this reason under warranty in August- surely it shouldn't still allow water in!!!!
As for the z4 well work has started to repair
After accident damage- light taped in place to ensure not to fall out.

Stripped to start repairs.

Sister site Z4 forum has been it's usual fantastic place with lots of support and offers of help!  :)
Fingers crossed all the cars will be healthy again soon!
