Looking for a 40d X5 8 speed ,would like 7 seats and tow bar ?

I was going to suggest a scan of the parts bin, and build your own....

Tried most dealers up and down the country with no luck ! I think I am going to defect to the other side Range Rover or Cayenne ? The age of car I am looking for 2011-2013 seems to be having more problems than the 10 year old one I am driving . ( lots of trouble some cars on here )
The Range Rover is getting great reviews aswell as good resale values and Porsche is growing on me even though they are both fairly long waiting lists for a new one , I have a mate with a new F15 40d , he is having nothing but trouble with it .
  It is a great bunch on here although BMW owners are now decreasing year on year , may need to change the heading to X ' Xdrivers who now all have Leafs , one extreme to the other even though the 3 series diesel is nearly as fuel efficient as the Leaf , I thought the obvious choice would be an i3 ?

I have managed to find 1 with tow bar , 7 seats , pan roof no sat nav , Se version with 29000 miles £26995 2011 , or Msport tow bar no 7 seats , sat nav 40000 miles £27495 2011 both from a dealer which one to choose as the Msport looks the better car but no 7 seats , but the Se has everything I want but may be hard to sell at a later date ?
  What is my 2004 54 plate 3.0 d sport in black 73000 miles , BMW full service history , new starter fitted , heated Nappa leather , 2 owners with 43 sets of wheels worth ? I am expecting a low offer from the dealers ! The car runs perfect but is due a service 1 in 2000 miles .

Pop your reg in we buy any car and that will give you some sort of figure I'm gonna guess I reckon it will come up with £5200

Look on ebay for a rough idea of your cars value. 

Hi thanks dealers are saying £7800 - £8000 but one just sold on here for over 8k with 40k more miles surely must be worth 9-10k , I have owned it from 18 months old & 15900 miles now 73000 miles  . Have every service stamp & invoices for all work carried by main dealers . Biggest problem is it is so smooth every car I have tested just seems jerky & slow . Took it to France last year and did over 2000 miles with no problems 
  I am wondering if I am just buying someone else`s trouble as most dealer cars are sorced from auctions and have shady pasts . Dont really want to buy a high miler from a back street dealer or a private purchase that turns out stolen , hence why asking on here for known cars .
  I dont do big mileage in a car as have a Hilux !

If dealers are offering you £8k on a px id take it, rather than the hassle of selling it etc 

doubt youll get any more than 8k, theres e70s at 10/11k for high milage

That's why it has taken so long to find one , most of the dealers cars have more miles on than mine and they are 3k above retail price some are 6k above so basically you are getting 2-3k for your car .
I am considering just ordering a new one or getting a demo just not too keen on the F15 !
