Satnav screen misbehaving - scrolling sideways & ghosting

Post by cooa99 » Wed Mar 11, 2015 9:23 am

In the last couple of days, my satnav screen have been behaving very odd.

ever so often now I start the car the screen scrolls sideways and fast or ghosting. Just like UHF TV back in the days

Any clue what the issue is?

Any idea which part of the wiring I should be checking?

Check the connections in the boot to the Video module, NAV computer, and behind the head unit itself.

Also check for any signs of water in the modules bay down by the vehicle battery - which you need to get to in order to check the connectors in the video module are fully home.
