Does the E70 LCi  have some kind of water overflow? I have noticed water dripping underneath the car in between the drivers door and the front wheel. I have only noticed it today. Yesterday I filled up the washer bottle. It isn't oil and doesn't taste of coolant.  It's directly underneath where I filled up so seems a coincidence. I didn't even spill any water as I was using a funnel.

If you over fill the bottle it drains the excess under there.  My X6 is the same.  Filling to just below the cap is overfilling as there is a joint a bit lower down where the filler neck just pushes in.

Many thanks Richard, I did fill it to the brim. That's what it is then.
