Hello all, I've just bought a 2004 facelift X5 3.0d. It won't get a lot of use as I have a company vehicle for use through the week an the missus has an Audi A4, although since I brought the X5 home the Audi doesn't seem to have moved much ::)

Make sure you keep the battery topped up if it isn't seeing a lot of use, or it will show displeasure by putting nasty (and spurious) warnings in the dash!
Nice looking example.

Hi and welcome to the forum. It's full of great help from a lot of knowledgeable people and good banter.
Hope you enjoy your bmw as much as we enjoy our cars
As X5Sport says if not using a lot then keep the battery topped up. I use either a trickle charger or every couple of weeks a full charger if not used up as throws up odd error messages when the battery gets run down/ old.
