So,  been on the forum nearly over 2 yrs and probably been more or a lurker than a contributor by the time is coming.

After seen all the deals on the Nissan Leaf it made my mind wonder to see if i could get something of a toy too.

Well the wife didn't like the toy bit but was happy to look at an alternative car and sell on the X5.

We'll i've gone and done it.  New car purchased.

Wife's Criteria -

Small
Economical
And capable of doing 2k per annum with low depreciation.
Cheaper Insurance

We'll i got 3 out of 4!!!!!

I've only gone a bought a new Audi S3 Sportback!!

The deal was just too good to miss.
11% discount on the vehicle
Dealer Deposit Contribution - £3,000
Audi Deposit Contribution - £3,000

£300 per month based on 5k per annum over 3 yrs!!

New car arrives in March.

As for PX price, pricing is all over the place. Got a modest £4685 for the 4.4. I may try and sell it privately to get more but see how it goes.

Now i need to choose the new company car, but worry not, it will be a BMW.  Looking at the new 418d M Sport 4dr.  Amazing lease deals on at the moment.

I have some bits and bobs for the X so will ask permission to put them up for sale.

I got a A3 Sportback as well (not quite S3 but just S line  :)) ), just keep in mind that if you look at the consumption figures they quote that they are way, way and again way off. Mine is quoted at 55.6 mpg, I get 30 and that is driving with the lightest foot.

They do drive well though and I imagine that the S3 is a lot faster, but in my case both my children are insured to drive it so had to be an insurance friendly 1.4TFSI instead.

The MPG can only be better than the 4.4!  I did look at the S-Line and initially was looking at the 1.4 COD.  There was £27.00 difference in the price per month.

Audi finance are doing what ever it takes to get drivers out of competitors car.
