LED lights for dash

Post by Olliefrom83 » Thu Jan 29, 2015 12:20 pm

Hi

Anyone upgraded there speedo and clocks to white LED?

I have purchased a kit from speedofixer this morning and wondered what the fitting was like? I have been told it requires some soldering and others have said it's simple bulb swaps?

Thanks

Ollie

An old forum member did this but he had someone else do them for him I think - kkodal78 doesn't post on the forum now so you may not get any help.

Hi Ollie

Here you are some pics to consider change to white LED. Base on my own experience over last six months i can say it much better for eyes than regular orange, i though. I made change of cluster design as well, someone like someone not. Complete cost with labor (soldering...)was about €160 and it was done down here in Slovakia.Image
