Another pdc question

Hi
Iv'e had a look through the forums about replacement for these and everyone's stating its a bumper off job to replace the front sensors on an x(facelift sport).  Is there absolutely no chance of access through the arch liner?
I've only just got the car back from repairs and really can't be arsed to book it in again. And it's a tad brass to be outside for a couple of hours getting the bumper off.
I'm half tempted to remove the lower grill section if that provides access?
Sorry for bringing this up again !

Bumper off. Its not the end of the world so why not either wait til it is warmer or wait til next time the car is getting booked in for something else ?

Just replaced front middle right sensor last weekend and to be honest it's very straight forward, a helping hand is needed when you pull the bumper off so you can disconnect the electrics and washer pipes.

Let me put it another way, if everyone is stating it is a bumper off, why would you not believe them ...... we don't take bumpers off for a laugh ..... :)

Thanks for the input folks
none of this matters now unfortunately as the car is now written off, courtesy of a European lorry driver.
Thankfully the kids weren't in the car, just me. My wife insists this was an excuse to not fix the car.

Not good.  As long as no one got hurt?

Just the car and the patience of the drivers in the resulting traffic jam. I'm now window shopping for another x !
