Air Suspension

Post by BigGX5 » Mon Jan 19, 2015 1:40 pm

Just noticed the other day that the rear of my car looked to be sitting a little lower (not much though), then today I heard a creak creak creaking when I started it up as if the suspension was being pumped up. What is the likely culprit, bad pump, possible leak? Trying to find a search on here to see if there is other posts on this. Any help appreciated.

Mone started like that, it was the nearside bellow, its usually always that one by all acounts, when it came off it was clear it had started to perish and had lots of little holes appearing.  I looked at getting some after market ones, but the price difference beween that and BMW supplied ones was not a great deal, so I stuck with BMW ones.

I think you can see here how it is sitting a little low at the rear. I assume it should hold it's hight at all times? Not as if I bough and old Citroen now is it.

I got an RAC warranty with the car, supposedly they pay the first £500 of any bill. Think I better look it out.
