Hi guys....I know some of you de badge your cars.....but I quite like the xdrive badge on the doors of the later x5's.
But could anyone with a e70 please tell me if there should be the xdrive badge on both front doors or just the drivers side or just passenger side.
Thanks

both, they go bad fairly quickly, the black paint and chrome looks a bit tatty on mine and at around £35 each I'm tempted to remove mine.

I've just put 35dxdrive badges on both doors which I think look great, cost me about £80 off ebay from one of the bmw sellers.

I bought the xdrive badges off ebay. Cost was so insignificant I can't remember and quality is great. 3M backing tape and they don't shift even if you hit them with the karcher.

Should be on both doors, and in chrome not black like the post on here, thats not a OEM badge and looks wrong ! Has the vehicle had accident damage on the side the badge is missing ?? They dont fall off , and i doubt anyone would steal just one side !

I don't own an E70 but even if did, I wouldn't have them on there let alone retro fit them.
They're in the wrong place aswell aren't they? Should be on the door - forgive me if I'm wrong.
Oh and that look s like an E53 with the wheel arch extensions. Is this post in the wrong section?

Yes on e53, no to accident damage, I deleted the 3.0d badge when I installed the smoked LED indicators and a small amount of clearcoat came off, so I used these to cover up.
This is the OEM style e70 or badge, and given its a retrofit on an e53; not really the 'wrong' place as there is no 'right' place .....although the facelift has the xdrive system it was never badged as such,
I like it. Just thought it would help OP to know there are replacements available on eBay. Miserable lot aren't you ! [emoji6]
