A fault since I purchased the car recently.

The drivers door will not unlock from the button on the key, it will lock from the button just not unlock, it looks tired when it locks to be fair.  It unlocks on a turn of the key with no problem.
The central locking seems fine all doors unlock on the button and with a twist of the key, and also lock/unlock from the central locking button in the console.

Anyone any ideas?

It's fairly common for the door lock solenoid to fail, intermittently at first, then completely. Especially drivers door as it is used most.
