Anticipated Delivery Date

Well my X5 40d M Sport is on order but they have put back the anticipated delivery date!

Just thought I would ask how long they normally take and see if it's my lease company that are fobbing me off?

Ordered 9th Dec with anticipated delivery mid March originally. Now I've just been told 27th April  >:(

Not unusual and there were delays to deliveries caused by issues with the wheels late in 2014 which has had a knock on effect so could be possible.

Might be model changes being introduced too.  It's around the time the 2016 model year starts production.

Usually allow three months including the month to get it here from the U.S.

I thought it would be 3 months but it will be 4 1/2 months from date of order until the anticipated delivery date.

I know we had a Christmas break but not that long  ;)

Anybody got any ideas of how I can get proof of order date from the leasing company?

Anybody else got one on order that is being given different lead times to me?

I ordered my 30d MSport early March 2014 and took delivery on 28th July so your delivery time is not that far off the norm.

I ordered my X5 SE 3.0  at the end of June 2014, and collected  it from the dealer 4th November 2014.

The replacement X5 was ordered on the 18th of January and ETA is May 20th.

The dealer did warn me beforehand that the Ruby Black, Individual wheels would cause a delay of about 4 weeks.
