looks nice, also love the m3, its on my list but might not happen since owning the ml63, i think it will be x5m next for me, m3s (had e46 cab m3) just not big enough once you start down the child + child accessories

Thanks for the welcome,
The m3 is an incredible car and if your thinking of getting one I would certainly recommend it but like you say they just don't fit very well with kids etc. I started the same with an e46 m3 vert which the boot was just tiny, after that I had an e92 m3 manual which was nice but I wanted the dct so swapped for that and it was awesome especially complimented with a sports exhaust. Ill have another one day maybe when the new m3/m4 have come down in price, also love the thought of the X5M's as I think I'm converted into a 4x4 man now!

thats my problem, had no end of bmw coupes / cabs, but now the 4x4 just ticks all the boxes (must be getting old) so the fast 4x4s combine everything

I know what you mean mate and I'm gutted its gone but It just made sense for us to have a more usable car seens there was so much money in it. Few years of ferrying the little kids round in the x5 then I'll have another for sure as M power is just bread into me!

I suppose I am always just surprised that when people have kids nowadays they seem to claim to need the biggest car in the world to transport them everywhere, I'm sure I managed with smaller cars!!
Anyway as you say it is a change and then at least you can go back to something again at some point and get something even bette with a proper engine like an rs4.

Your right people do tend to go a bit drastic when they have kids and sell and I have done the same in the past, but my logic on it was having about 30k in a car that the Mrs won't drive as she just stresses because she knows how much I worship the thing. So it made more sense to have something we could treat as a family car but still be a nice motor that we can both use. An m5 would have fit the bill perfect but I need to wait till they come below 30k, and as amazing as rs4's are im just narrow minded when it comes to cars and nothing else really appeals to me other than bmw's although the new rs4/rs6's are stunning and far to expensive for me lol!

I love it and in my opinion it is so much better than the new M3
I've driven the new M3 lots including having one of the most laid back instructors on a bmw day day at thruxton who just kept pushing me and I just didn't enjoy the drive
There are several pics of my RS on here somewhere!!

That is stunning mate I love the colour and those wheels look massive, I've not been in the new m3/m4 yet but did go in an m5 and that thing was phenomenal. Will see in a few years and I'll definatly concider the rs4's, seen a red one the other day with like a silver front splitter on and it looked a beast!
