Spacers Advice for 21" Star-Spoke 128 Alloys

I have a set of genuine 21" BMW Star-Spoke 128 alloys fitted to my E70 X5 and I am wanting to bring them out a little more to fill the arches but I am not sure what size spacer I should go for front and rear.

I believe the offsets are as follows:

Front - 10 x 21 with ET 40
Rear - 11.5 x 21 with ET 38

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks chaps.

Well, I didn't get any response to this question so I decided to go for 15mm front and 25mm rear. I have also ordered a set of H&R springs - so they will all be fitted hopefully next week.

A bit late posting this then. I would kave put a straight edge against the tyre that was ling enough to reach the wheel arch and see how much room was left before the extremity of the bodywork  :)

Interested to see before n after pics of the springs mate, was about to order some myself.  Lowering your X with H&R springs is popular in the states, some of their vehicles look great [emoji106]

Keep us informed!!

I'm interested in this too Hoops.. i recently bought some 20mm hubcentric spacers and longer wheel bolts for the rear of my 3.0sd. But when i came to fit them i found the outside diameter of the spacer itself was circa 8 mm smaller than the back of the std 20" m sport alloys!

I'm sure it would have been fine, but with a 2.5 tonne SUV i really didnt like the idea of not having a full contact patch of wheel to spacer and spacer to hub (plus it looked weird thru the spokes of the wheel!), so I sent them back.

Looking forward to your update

Hi just make sure that the spacers bolt to the hub then the wheels to the spacer as I have herd a lot of horror stories of broken bolts causing an accident ! Quite a few people have run rear wheels on the front so effectively having 4 rear wheels on the car but I wouldn't recommend it .
