Looks a little close to the edge, but it depends upon how much damage there is inside the tyre. Always worth a try

Wouldn't think so, puncture repairs can only be on the centre three quarters and that looks right at the edge. Expensive nail by the looks of it unfortunately

A shop won't do that one.
You could try a DIY mushroom kit for ATV's as they hold up pretty well

You might be able to find a garage that will repair it, but many wont I'm afraid!

And really - does the risk of a blow out at high speed and the safety of you and your passengers outweigh a few bucks? When it comes to brakes and tyres, there can't be shortcuts.

Repairs in the shoulder area are ILLEGAL on any tyre under BSAU 159f.

Get rid of the tyre and buy a new one. Cheaper in the long run.

Cheaper than it blowing out and causing lots of damage. At best case scenario, you'll have to pay your insurance excess due to minimal damage. At worst case... I wouldn't even like to think about it (think non monetary cost... Like safety...)

But your "long" is not guaranteed it is just a risk

Personally, I wouldn't want the hassle of a repair I'd just replace it (which I did on the old X5 when same thing occurred.)

You have too much money..............
........but agreed. I'm not a fan of them because I drive my cars hard although looking at how they are repaired I think you would have to be very unlucky for something to go wrong!!
