Manchester (South) BREAKERS
Howdy all, looking for a BMW (X5) breaker in the Manchester area. Anyone have any info for a local dismantler? I know there used to be a guy in Macclesfield but no longer there. Looking for a yard that I can go visit and pick stuff up from, rather than one of these online parts sourcers.

Dont know X5 breakers in Manchester. A search on online breakers/ part search is quite good though I recently sourced a door for a car not an X5 using such a search for a damaged car which the garage could not source locally. I also managed to get the price down.
Using online sources can save quite a bit of money unless you know a particular dismantlers personally and they sell to you cheap.
What is your model a pre-facelift or facelift E53 ? and what type of parts were you thinking of , just out of curiosity.
