AUX - iPod/iPhone 25-pin cable

hi,
I finally managed to connect 25-pin cable to AUX last night... it was a relatively straight fwd job but... cable/adapter can also be used for charging and this is where I need some expert's advice re wiring - how to connect the charging wire to ignition so as to get the 'charge' element up and running
?
other than that...
- adapter itself is as good as it gets
- steering wheel volume controls work fine albeit AUX volume is not as good as one on other inputs, namely CD/Radio and TAPE (if anyone even uses one nowadays
)
- Play controls have to be operated on the device (cannot use steering wheel controls)
all in all good enough solution for now and considering it was only ~£20 happy with the overall outcome... I still use Jabra Freeway for phone calls which is far superior to 'onboard B'tooth' solution.
hope that helps and look fwd to your feedback.
