What mods/upgrades have you done to your X3?

Hi All,

I was curious what changes X3 owners make to their cars if any?

I have in the last 13 months:

Upgrades:

Kidney grill to a titanium


Addons:

Detachable towbar
Mudflaps all round
Genuine mats
Genuine boot mat
Genuine boot plastic tray
Alloy pedals

Service:

Led interior bulbs
Remove swirl flaps
Fuel filter
Vortex oil separator
Oil change
Pollen filter
Air filter
Battery

Would like to refurb wheels, lower couple inches, get a skid bar like i did for my X5 (Check Gallery).

Sounds good, still waiting for some pics of yours...when you do I wouldn't mind a pic showing the stereo as that is something I would like to change.

Did you get your EGR mapped out? I didn't with mine because of DPF but have been advised it would be better with it gone.

I had my transfer case oil changed today by Darren Wood BMW specialists and can't fault them.
Very professional and friendly to deal with.

Hey,

So only took a couple pics of the Stereo for you, don't have the time to do a few of the car yet. You'll notice that the stereo is quite inset, that's because I chose the Pioneer MVH X560BT. It's mechless, so no CD player. As such the chassis is shorter and BMW housing is a bit deeper from where the fascia sits. Because the Stereo has to "click" into place in the frame, and the frame is short, I couldn't pull it forward more. I think if you go for a standard stereo, with a little modding of the frame and dashboard slot, it'll fit nicely.
EGR remained because of the DPF. If/When I have the money, I'll remove the DPF. Hoping to give an update next month. Image
