So, how many miles a year do you do?

Took the wifes E53 for an MOT today. Failed and £1000 later its all passed. Funny thing is i looked at the mileage from last year to date and its only done 2187 miles in 12 months!!!! Anyone done any less?

what were the fails??
Ive only done 3,100 miles roughly this year!!

Failed on the following -
Front bush's
Brake hose corroded
Headlight aim low
Rear subframe bush's
Advisorie on play in steering rack inner joint (not sure what that can be)
Boy this car has cost me but havent the heart to sell it

Done 250 miles in my Golf, did 4000 miles in the last 4 years of my M.

3250 last year,3100 this, Mot due suspect it will be brake pipes had 2 advisorys ,but not last year?maybe because they had £550 off me the week before oil cooler pies etc.This year only spent £55 on Bush and fitted expansion tank myself £54 from Europarts

I have only done 545 miles
in my Corvette since last years MOT and so far garage is waiting for £1000 of parts from the USA.
They haven't given me a labour bill yet
6,500 miles in my X3 and it needed both rear springs, luckily selling dealer rectified free of charge.
35 miles on Honda DAX and passed with no advisories
