oil leak

have an oil leak from the prop flange on my 04 3.0 x3, the one from the tranfer box to the front dif, can i pull the flange and replace the seal, ??

Yes but you need to take transfer box out to remove prop shaft. Seal size: 50/70/8/12 clockwise speen.

oh ******* thought i could drop the front prop shaft, pull the flange, and hook out the seal with the box in situ, hmmmmmm, rgds dave
