Front fog lights

So I was checking my lights yesterday before todays MOT (it passed yay

) and one of the front fog light bulbs has failed.
I checked that front fogs aren't an MOT requirement but the bong every time I turn off the engine is already bugging me!
Now I've started looking at replacements bulbs I've got completely bogged down in what I need to replace them with. I'll replace both and I was looking at LEDs but I don't want anything that will cause CANBUS errors or look too blue O:-)
Has anyone got any recommendations?

Go normal bulbs on these buddy, they're used so seldom and LED's won't achieve the brightness. No need for errors....

Osram have just started doing fog/DRL kits, one of which is listed
here. They do a couple of other kits too. They supposedly add fog/DRL & cornering light capability to existing fog equipped cars.
But! They come at a price. We're talking £350 a car. Bright they may be but...... As Sanj says, stick to the normal bulbs, go slightly blue if you want to (again Osram are producing bulbs for BMW that you can buy elsewhere for less) and save a fortune.
My fog lamps are used far more by the adaptive cornering system than they are as true fogs.

Totally agree with the above and just go OE bulbs.
I've got hid's but as stated don't really use them.

Thanks for replies guys but if the king of bling (Raj!) says OE is better then that's what I'll do, especially as I never turn the things on!
Richard those osram DRL/fogs look cool but for £350 Ithink I'll pass.
Do I really have to take the wheel liner out to change the bulb? I did manage to fix the horn by going through that 'flap' thingy. No jokes about gynaecologists please :razz1:

Agreed re the drls. They do look nice but a lot of money.
To change the foglight bulb you just remove the surround and unscrew the foglight (2 'I think' small screws) and pop it out. Very straight forward.
