Stop/Start Steering Wheel Twitch

I'm not sure if this is a problem or a feature but whenever my stop/start restarts the engine, I get a slight twitch on the steering wheel akin to the lane departure warning that I switched off almost immediately !
It seems to be noticeable on a camber or if the wheels aren't dead ahead. Anybody else getting this too ?

Does the F15 have electromechanical steering? Might it be power coming onto the electric motor? Just wondering.

Hi Richard,
Yes it's electro-mechanical as far as I know and that's what I figured. Didn't notice it on the extended test drive but there was a lot to take in. Maybe it's a feature to wake the drivers up on the M25.

Yes mine does the same, more than a 'twitch sometimes' - nearly has the wheel out of your hands! >:(
My previous F25 X3 did the same.
