How to Enable 3D perspective view on a BMW E53 Sat Nav

The view on my sat Nav with it looking down and always point north has been driving me nuts, but I have found this on YouTube which shows you how to get a 3D view. It says it’s for an E46 but I have used it on my 06 E53 Le Mans and it works. Apologies if this is already up here but I could not find it.

If you go into the 'Set' mode from the menu screen, what numbers do you see? Should start 4- then a set of three digits separated by a /. If the numbers read less than 4-1/70 then you need the later version firmware.
Perspective mode arrived on V27. The last version released is V32 which also caters for dual layer DVD map discs.

I'm looking to get a new DVD and firm wear as I was a custom splash screen

Just done this, freshened up the screen nicely.
