Nice colour combo, I didn't realise it was auto as well very nice

Getting lazy as I get older. Auto box seems pretty smooth and reasonably quick will know better once it can floored.
The only downer so far is the yellow halo rings.

Assuming you have HIDs then you can fit the MTEC H8 35W with blue filter - same as on my X6. RealOEM appears to show your as having the same bulb for the halos.
These are they, and the thread is
here. It has real world piccies of them on a couple of members cars, and they're only about £14 delivered.

That was my thought too I used H7 MTEC super whites on my X5 and they done the trick and my type of price range. I was reading round and these 1'er boys all talking about Cree or lux bulbs and they are damn pricey in comparison. If MTEC do the job would be well pleased with that, just trying to confirm that, don't get why people are paying 6+ times the price on these other bulbs.

How do I tell if they are HID? Manual says:
Xenon headlights
H8 35w
Checked HID direct they have 35, 55, 100w versions. Wondering should I play safe and get 35 or could I go 55. Any issue doing that?

Did you order the car with 'Xenon' lights? Their proper name is HIDs (High Intensity Discharge). You only need H8 35W as that link suggests if you have Xenon lights. 55W may put out too much heat for the mount.
Have a look on Realoem for the same model as yours and that will tell you what you need.

Off course sir, Xenon option was ticked. (After retro fitting on my e53, thought I get it for real this time).
realoem only lists to 01/2013, figure that close enough:

Assume it No 5 therefore I think this is what I need

Sound good? Wondering whether to wait till Tuesday and call hids direct and ask, or just order.

I've got these:

Same supplier..
. I'm very pleased with them. And at around £14 they're a steal. You just need Sanj to fit them.....

Just being a fussy git and pics can be deceptive do yours have a very slight blue tint to them? I was thinking 4350 for pure white no blue.

Very close to OEM HID.
The slight, and it is very slight, blue white is from the filter coat. Much better than yellow

Full sunlight on front left quarter.....sky clear blue and lights clearly visible. No playing with the exposure settings.
