So now I'm not only just jealous of all you brand spanking new X owners but just of your lights too..... :-[

I'm going to rob a bank and order me one of these new fangled BMW's.....lol

Agree that is very cool.

My adaptive Xenons definitely don't do that - high beam assist just dips both lights when necessary and adaptive just pivots the lights / introduces relevant fog light for corners.  Agree with 4687ah - just when you're chuffed with your led angel lights and cool Xenons, BMW go and update to some new must have tech to deflate your bubble.  Oh well, I'm still chuffed to bits with mine regardless, apart from the SatNav which is just bloo*y dangerous....

Looking at that video makes me realise I was following a 5series with those fitted a couple of weeks ago. I wondered what the hell was going on with his lights as they were up and down like a brides nighty and the bear side verge was always on main beam. I thought their fog lights were well and truly mullard. :))

These look really good - would love to see how other motorist feel they work. Do they get any high beam glare or not.

Followed some twisties on the way home from golf earlier.  They definitely work.  Very impressed and never noticed it before (when I wasn't looking for it!)

I'm sure they will work very well - BMW could get into trouble / v adverse publicity if not ...  Don't know what the long term reliability is like mind but as snipez999 changes his car every other week shouldn't be an issue for him!  :))

I'm enjoying the 50d too much to think right now but wifey's X5 40d will be 2 later this year. So she gets first dibs trying to persuade her to get a 50d but she likes new RR autobiography.....

Well you weren't going to say Vauxhall Zafira were you!?  :))

Both great cars - I hope RR get their reliability sorted ...

I hope your wife wins on her choice!

Is it not a bit boring having two cars pretty much exactly the same, particularly in the price brackets that you have to play with!

I like Beemers! Wifey had the Q7 for 3 years before her continual nagging for me to get her something decent paid off and she joined the BMW fold ;-p

Sadly for me she likes the SDV8 4.4 diesel flavour (gulp).

V8 diesel 4.4 sounds good to me.  Can you get it with 3 turbos?!  :))
