11L filled with MB-115 Resin, connects directly to a hose and judging from someone's reported 'accident' with some force being available too.

What size vessel?

Any idea how long they last and does the water come out quicker than it does out of the long black pole thingies, which seems a dribble at best!

As Richard has stated the group by was for an 11lt DI vessel filled with Tulsion MB-115 mixed bed resin. Delivered for £100 to your door. You can try calling Doug @ DAQUA on 01786469606 and just say you were away or something so didn't have a chance to call last Friday. Just mention Xdrivers forum.

The pressure in this little baby is soooooooo much better than the waterspots ones. I used those first and they were useless as the dribble they produce could put you to sleep before covering the whole car.

The pressure is also the accident referred to above as weirdfish soaked his front regions with water that shot out the hose when unplugging it due to the pressure it generates.

You won't be disappointed.

@Raj.....the next 'Group Buy' will be new resin as there's a discount on multiple bags..... :)

Don't worry as I've already been thinking about that also.

If you turn the tap off, empty the hose from the "out" section first, then you can disconnect the feed side.

If you do it the other way around, the pressure in the vessel will soak you  :camera:

I see no difference in pressure from normal hosing the car and with the vessel in between.
The Waterspot black pipe was fine for when it worked, but as it stopped working after 5 washes it was bl**dy expensive.

I know, I know, but I was so excited at having my new toy that my mind was not in gear until I felt a sudden moist patch, every other time dealing with hoses etc you would always remember to relieve the pressure, bloody boys and their toys.

I gave my second one away to my dad, seems ok for him.

You can donate your second one to me so I can give him another one :)

TDS arrived this morning and is reading 550 straight from the tap.  Interestingly that is at the maximum permitted sour by the US EPA.

Haven't tried the DIV yet (weather is 'orrible at present), but now I know why our tap water leaves water marks and also tastes so bad, and why we use a Carbon/Silver cartridge filter for drinking water!

Will be very interesting to see how many washes your vessel does before the resin is shot, it obviously will have to work a bit harder than those with softer water.
