Cheers Sanj - Thanks for confirmation, saves me trawling thread.

Food for thought then - Not a requirement but an easy upgrade  :)

:'( Don't! Almost 3 years ago I spent more than double that for them!

So that makes mine better btw - cos they cost more!

When i phoned BMW parts a few years back these were roughly £470 - £480, so when this thread started back in May and a heads up from graemeX5 ( thanks graeme :ok: ) they seemed a steal at £216 in comparison so i bought a set from my local`ish BMW dealer. As Sanj said the ebay listing is incorrect , you will receive the full kit in a 5 ft box including fittings.

Like i said, a steal at £216 but i didn`t pay that . The don`t ask  don`t get  moto worked out well for me....

Not yet, still considering!

Spent a good bit of time on the X5 this weekend - fitted rear stub axle bush yesterday, big clean session today and then a coolant leak sprung this evening from split overflow pipe, sorted that now.

Glad I was able to sort all myself, had to make pipe up - luck had it that i had suitable parts lying around :)

Maybe I will treat it soon?

Does anyone know how X MAN secured a 27% discount on this kit and which dealership he bought them from?

Have PM'ed him but no reply yet.  :'(

No but BMW Cotswolds will do it for you at £205 delivered to your door. Just mention the X5 forum.

Thanks Sanj.

I had read that further back in the thread and although £205 is an amazing price for this kit £183.60 sounds even more appealing!  ;)

I guess my money will be going to Cotswolds unless X MAN surfaces!  :))

Guys I just called BMW Cotswold regarding the flared arch kit and it isn't £200+? Can anyone help as I really want this kit but don't want to pay the silly price BMW want for it!

Yeah it's ended as I bought it. Was worried about the kit as it did say for 1 side only. But everyone said its the whole kit so I went ahead and bought it anyway. If it arrives just the one side then I'll just return the item.

Graeme is this the kit you bought? It is the right kit for a 3.0d with running boards right?

What is the aerodynamic package? On the listing it says not suitable for vehicles with arrodynamic package.
