Thanks Sanj for the birthday wishes, I spent most of it shopping for kitchens. Good cover for what I'm planning on spending on the x though....

.......... remove all that BMW kit and sell it for two or three times the price of these units. For some reason people still pay silly money for the genuine kit, even though it's 10 years out of date!
I'd whip it all out, sell it, buy a Hualingan and pocket some nice change!
Well, not quite.. I did manage to get £100 for my MK3 nav drive that has a fault and £160 for the widescreen cassette head unit - so thats a £260 towards the Huli fund. Couple that to £350 I got for my old Range Rover diagnostics equipment and Im ready to go...

Update
I emailed car vision who said my tank will have to come out, they want me to send pictures of the tank so they know what there up against, so looks like they will do the whole job, although im toying with the idea to just go to my lpg fitter and get them to temp remove the tank, take the car to car vision, have work done they get tank re fitted. that way i know its only being touched by the experts, not sure is car vision are qualified to mess with lpg systems?

I haven't played with lpg but I think getting the professionals in the field to remove the tank and re-fit is a safe thing to do. Did u also say it was all non-flex pipes? At the same time I'd explore refitting with flex pipes.

Lifting the lpg tank is not easy, Release the fixings that hold the tank to the carrier, then gradually lift the tank vertically in stages, blocking as you go.
Lift till room to work and then fit blocking to prevent the tank moving.

Good job, I am sure your delighted with the finished results
I would love the new android based system but its crazy money, do you think price will come down much in the near future and is it worth the extra.
Wonder what discount could be given for the android based system with a group buy if enough people interested

I can't comment on the Android Dynavin, but I'm sure it's a great bit of kit! Just sadly way out of my price range. But I'm over the moon with the Hualingan! Either one will be a huge improvement over the factory stuff!
If you're interested in a Dynavin group buy, give TTints a call, I'm sure they would sort something out if you get enough numbers?
Or likewise for a Hualingan group buy, speak to John at CarVision, I'm sure he'd be interested too!

There's a video of the Android Dynavin here:

It looks pretty tasty I must say
Still too much though IMO!

lets gauage numbers for a group buy
please state perference over hualingan or dynavin (android based system)
My perference is dynavin (as stated price dependent) but would sway hualingan if group perferred and price right
We need numbers before contacting suppliers
Thanks

You're probably best of starting a new thread for a group buy, as many people won't be regularly checking this one, with 'group buy' and 'dynavin/Hualingan' in the title you might get more outside interest too!
Or failing that just google 'dynavin group buy' and set the results to 'within the last month'. If another forum has a group but going you could join forces! Good luck
