No problem. I'm sure we have a breast pump around somewhere......I mean, what else is it for?

Re: A 'hello' and a small rant
A lady goes to see her doctor with some very worrisome symptoms. After examining her, he says, "I'm terribly sorry to tell you this, but you only have six months to live." The lady is very distraught, "Oh doctor, what should I do", she asks. The doctor says, "I advise you to marry an Accountant.""Will that make me live longer?", she asks, hopefully. "No, " says the doctor. "But it will seem longer."

I'm good thanks, how are you?
Ah yes. For those of you who don't know, I replaced all of my interior bulbs (6 in the roof, 4 footwell and 4 puddle using original BMW 10 LED pack + BMW 4 LED pack). It came out pretty well, a crispy white colour:
Really simple mod (All you really need is a flat-head screwdriver), but makes such a difference inside. They also work with the car's "fountain" lights effect (where the lights slowly dim to off rather than a sudden change), and of course error free. I didn't want to get involved with buying bulbs off eBay and having to face problems such as error codes, flickering, radio/TV interference, etc.
Sunny.

Re: A 'hello' and a small rant
Are the OEM kits expensive? I'd like to put a red filtered one above my son when we are travelling at night so I can see him but without having all the interior lights on.
They do look good, and at least work with the dimming side too...

Re: A 'hello' and a small rant
The 10-pack is around £90 or so from the dealer if I remember correctly, and I can't remember how much the 4-pack cost (I think it was roughly just over half the price of the 10 pack).
As for a red coloured light, BMW don't officially do one as far as I know. How bright does it have to be? Could you get away with a red-coloured halogen W5W bulb?
BTW, if bulbs are missing/blown, an error code is generated and stored in the vehicles memory (for the roof lights at least). I had to clear the error codes for my roof lights after fitment (I used iVini app + BMWhat bluetooth adapter to do that).

Re: A 'hello' and a small rant
Tnx for the info. I'll most likely use a red film filter gel. It doesn't need to be bright, just bright enough to allow the driver to see him.

You could apply the film gel onto the flat circular face of the LED bulb (there is a sealed plastic cover between the outer end of the bulb and the diode itself just under it, which makes this possible!). All the light comes off the flat circular end, I.e. There are no LEDs on the side of the bulb

Sorry for putting you on the spot there, I get a bit carried away sometimes (aswell as being slow to reply lol).
Watch out in case three wise men follow you around, they are very white and bright
