I'm pretty sure mine was 2.2 bar/32psi all round with staggered set-up. The pressure label should be on the drivers side B-pillar in the door opening as suggested above. Higher pressure in rear only needed if fully laden.
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Latest update:
Right, turns out I have a slow puncture. The rear driver side tyre was 1.10 bar!
All four are now 2.2 as per BMW recommendation.
Although there is a significant difference, it STILL doesn't feel right.
Will take to local stealership for a test drive. Thanks again.

Spare fitted (in the boot, not the car)? Fuel tank full? Any sign of 'bounce' on any of the corners if you push down? Is the much 'body roll' on corners? If I remember mine it had very little 'lean' unlike a Rangey which could make Mrs X5Sport :puke: (nothing to do with my driving the rest of you lot!).

There is a spare in the boot.
It seems to drive absolutely fine around bends (based on my limited knowledge anyway!)
Just when in a straight line, it seems bouncy and picks up every little crevice in the road. Just not glued to the road as previous X was.
All a bit strange :blink:

It it tramlines then I would look at the tyres. Diamaras for example tend to tramline more when worn.
After fitting a full set of new Toyo Proxy ST's mine became infinitely more 'stable'

Ironically I had a lot of problems with my previous X5 re: tram lining but this one is fine!
