I got my car from the Aberdeen dealer, however  the deal I secured is no longer available.  I would start be ringing a local dealer and then working from their.  To give you a guide, I pay £160 a month with 10k per annum mileage.  This was for the Tekna (top of the range) with GAP insurance and metallic paint.  The cheapest price I've seen was £125 with 6k and solid paint and no GAP. Both deals required a £500 deposit and are on a two year plan.

Unsure where you are but you can try WLMG in Park Royal West London. Ring and ask for Saqib - hes the manager. Tell him you were referred to him by Imran.

Deal I got and for many others was:

£500 deposit
£120pm
6K per annum
Tekna inc met paint and floor mats.

My dad bumped his mileage up to 8k per annum for an extra £8pm.

Not sure if hel still do it but I did get him a good 10 - 12 orders.

Can anyone explain what Gap insurance is please?

Difference between the invoice value of the car and the insurance value.

If the car is £10k when you get it, have an accident / write off / stolen after 6 months, the insurance will pay the value which might be £7k then. You are out of pocket by £3k.

GAP pays the difference between what you paid and the insurance payout.

Hi Big 'G',

I've contacted the dealership I used. His best deal today is £2700 deposit and £135 a month for 24 months. Not great but at least it gives you an idea of what the dealers are looking.

I've done a similar amount of miles. I had considered a second one to use while
in Aberdeen but I'm moving to the Shetlands at the end of the year so no point.

I really should be on some sort of commission.  ::)

Oh well,

I take it you're having it transported down again?

I'd have to shoot you

He said he owes you commission and I said you said that you didn't want it and we could take it off the price of the car
