oh well sussed it out and got it wired, what a task it was epic!! took all day, i am siting my camera in the spoiler because you get the bottom of the rear window in view to gauge distance but the overall view is miles its like having a rear facing seat and windscreen!

got it finished today, its excellent in the spoiler you cant even see it and i get a view like a rear windscreen, yeh its no good for the final bit of parking but thats what my parking sensors are for but it works in the dark and can see miles, cant wait to use it with the trailer on!!

I think it's about time i fitted one of these i have reversed into another car a few months back, damage was £5 ish for the plastic PCD cover. Then last week i reversed in to a metal lamp post, thing is the sesors dont seem to work to well when wet or dirty.

So how long from start to finish to install one of these cameras.

with all the necessary parts in hand, it took me a good morning to fit. most of that time was removing the fiddly interior panels without breakage.

It isn't a quick job.

You have to remove the interior bits to the top tailgate, bit of headlining, rear-most quarter panel trim, floor, spare, compressor, access to TV module, etc. So a bit of work there...
