@Nat - all very good points raise on the 'SE' over MSport spec. TBH I prefer the exterior look of the 'SE' the mono colour MSport looks too heavy.

Beige interior is nice but a pain to keep clean and rubber over mats are a must at this time of year with kids  ::)

My interior before the little darlings got to work  :'( works really well with the Pano roof.

cracking spec - I got a fraction over 20% off my X5 last Summer and I think one or two others have too.  Got to be the yardstick from now on.  Pan roof is the one option I would choose time and time again - love the look (externally) of the X5 with the twin roofs in tilt and with the roof fully open, it's the closest thing to having a convertible X!

Chompers - congratulations on the 1000th post!

ref the colour, my current car is Sapphire Black Metallic with red leather and I love it! It did take a bit of convincing to try cinamon for the X5, but you only live once!

I currently have the voice control and I do use it quite often, I find I can get addresses accepted ok-if it can understand my accent.....plus it was actually part of an overal deal,

Always a nice combo, shame they don't do this on the X5  :( not sure if they still do Chateau leather on the X6, this also looked very nice.

Bet you can't wait for the new car  :drive:

Great interior Chompers. Ive had beige before and its not as hard to keep clean as people expect................just a wipe with a damp chamois tends to do the trick, & yes overmats are a must. I had 2 sets of mats that I rotated.

As for the Pan roof, again I hear what everyone else is saying, but I recon Ive used the roof 6 times and one of those times the roof broke and just the roof was £2500 and a load of agro . Maybe its a case of once bitten and all that, but the weather in this country is shite , I dont trust it and dont want the repeat experience and we just dont use it.
I will spend some of the money saved there on a re-map instead.

Regards

Nat.

Dark jeans seem to be a real pain transferring die on to the seats, but at the end of the day these are all small issues to get the overal look. (dark out/light in) I Hear where you are coming from re: the roof and guess as you say a £2.5k bill would get me thinking  :o

Re            -invalidating the warranty. I didn't think dealers could detect re-map.

Am I mistaken ?

Hmm.............You are naughty - Ironic you need four rings on grill to help achieve this extra front end weight & size ;)
