But £105 for sub/amp and wiring kit??!! Let me know how it sounds and how easy it is to set up/ install.... It's on my shopping list

just got the amplifier and the wiring kit today. i'll look and see if i can handle this installation.

Go for it mate i did using the bsw link (which is in this thread somewhere) and i managed it ok even though i hadn't done it before

i'll look up for the bsw link. but for the amp power, what do i use the get the amp turned on when the stereo is on? i m planning on using the amp output from the hauligan for the sound but can't figure out what i should do for the power.

The unit has a blue wire on it - that's your remote amp turn on cable.

Of course if you replaced an OEM cassette unit up front and not the screen you have no aftermarket loom running to the boot so no blue cable (quadlock is up front).

If so, grab the purple and white stripe cable that goes to the Radio Control Module.

The day is THURSDAY for the remap ) i just booked an appointment with Jason to go down there to get the remap done as well as fresh oil in gearbox and software update.. can't wait!!

my X5 is with jason to get remapped and software update for gearbox. i

remapping is done as well as gearbox software update but it did not cure the problem i had with it , we'll see how long the gearbox will last. i've driven the car for 130 miles after the remap but since i hit the rush hour traffic did not get a chance to enjoy the ride. will give it some time to see how it does for me.
Sanj, thanks for showing up at jason's. great conversation! please forward me the info about the LED tail lights as well as the interior led's.

Glad for you mate the remap will make a big difference from what your used to ....sorry to hear you had to endure Sanj throughout the process mind
