I'll just have to fit the heated steering wheel I managed to get in under the radar
Where did you manage to get that from, they're rare! Got the slip ring and relay?
Got it from a local breaker. Advertised just as an X5 steering wheel, but I could see from the picture it had the switch for the heater. Checked it out and handed over the princely sum of £50 for the wheel, £10 for the slip ring and £3 for a relay. Did a Cheshire cat impression all the way home.
Need to fit my £24 BMW rear cycle carrier at some time too. I do like a bargain.
Damn thats good, what's a BMW rear cycle carrier look like? And how do find out about whats at the local breaker or it's lottery visit?

I still don't plan on fitting these...
who was talking about fitting was talking about having mates. Paranoid.
He never fitted his own so how's he gonna fit yours
Sounds like someone needs to get Pewters out of retirement

Heard he's gone into the building trade.

The rear cycle carrier is one of these:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Rear-2-Bi ... 2a11ec31e5
They are not to everyone's taste but I need to keep my tow ball free for the caravan and didnt fancy trying to get the bikes onto the roof as they are not the lightest. The cycle carrier had been misspelled on ebay and had had very few views, I was surprised the guy honoured it at that price but was impressed that he did. I'll put pics on when it's sorted.
The steering wheel was actually on eBay but it happened to be local to me. I was just killing time when I saw it and it had only gone on the previous night, just luck really.
