Using Bilburrys with that Vikan brush has always brought up rims really well. Exactly what I used on the M3 I detailed and you can see how they looked to start with.

And of course you can always jack the car up and go underneath it, or use ramps etc....... :P

I find using the pressure washer at low power after a Bilberry coat does just fine...now awaiting the extra storage for water so I can go on using it after the 5th April. Decent sized water butts (200l+) are rarer than X6's around here now. Nowhere's got them and most places have waiting lists, or they've jacked up the prices to ridiculous levels. :evil:

There was an interesting item in the press this week which worked out that to clean and properly rinse a car with the bucket system would use around 110litres whereas a hose would use less than 30litres. The reason given for the hoses being a concern was that people would leave them running for 30mins whereas in fact most users are more likely to have a trigger controlled spray nozzle attached - especially if on a meter.
