Brilliant  8)

I spoke to BMW today and mine is apparently due at the dealer week after next and I intend to go and have a look once it's in  :camera:

If that's the case then it was made and shipped pretty much immediately along with an existing batch of X5's they're expecting.

The code is still showing as 9000 but I understand it doesn't update quickly on some occasions.

Next job is to call BMW and ask them to come and collect my lease M5  :'(

I'll have mixed feelings when it goes. It's the only car I've EVER owned that I still enjoy getting into 3 years down the line, but it has to go  :(

The power and the way it drives is just fecking brilliant  if only they made an F10 M5 Touring..........

Has your car arrived yet mogsyman?

Mine is now at 9000 and they are telling me delivery scheduled for week 36!

Not arrived yet as far as I'm aware, still on route.

I was told last week the dealer is expecting a delivery of X5's at some stage next week and assuming BMW's build/delivery system is correct my car will be there.

I'm asking BMW again now so I'll see what week it's due

So, another couple of weeks.

As it happens it's not an issue, I'm not taking delivery until 20th September earliest.

Wow, that's taken a while - hope mine doesn't sit at the port for weeks now!

Yep I heard about that on the news....

Tragic but fortunately these 4x4's have great traction and hopefully mine is ok  8)

Well, after nearly three years my F10 M5 is booked to be picked up Friday 16th September and my new M50d will be ready for 10am on the 17th.

I've got mixed feelings to be honest, it's been a brilliant, brilliant car, probably the best I've had the pleasure of driving.

I'm not quite sure how I'll feel to see it being driven away by someone other than me  :(

But.......

The next morning I'll be fortunate enough to be driving away in a new X5 and that's got to be pretty exciting :)

Ahhhh..........  :'(

Probably nothing more than simply waiting for the next available boat?

I have to say that, I am quite excited to be reading all of your posts regarding factory order and delivery (I ordered a m50d too)  It's given me a great insight to the process. It also shows me that not all dealers are the same.

In hindsight, I should have placed my order with Vines of Gatwick, rather than Coopers at Croydon... The new sales guy has not really kept me informed, and knowing that only a week ago, the car was at event 1200, he didn't even tell me that.
