There is an issue with the driveshaft joints on the front propshaft.  It will be checked for too much play and replaced free of charge if out of spec.  Mine was checked and replaced two years ago, so if yours hasn't been done yet then it should have been picked up a long time back!

There is a thread on here somewhere that covers it.

car in today at dealer for software update and driveshaft check. I have an a 2015 F30 xdrive 320d msport - drives really well over potholes and speedbumps - a pleasant surprise since it is on 18" RFTs. Maybe m sport suspension was deleted?

i just got a call today to say mine is due in for a software update and something else, you would think having only had it 12 days that they might have done the recall before the sale :))

Mine was done just before I bought it and according to the invoice they also replaced a heat shield FOC. I called the dealer where it was done and the very nice lady didn't know what heat shield. It's not under warranty so I don't know why it was changed FOC. Anyone else have this done?

Possibly the driveshaft/propshaft issue.  Doesn't affect all cars though.

Got my car back from dealer music and seat settings unchanged but lost my folding mirrors from the carly app.

Also got a written report of the visual health check and they confirmed front driveshaft/diff is ok.

annoying about the Carly bit.  Seen this before.  BMW central server systems can look at the car config and if it doesn't match the country 'baseline' for your VIN, overwrite it back to what they think it should be.  Same has happened with engine maps  >:(
