Yup. Used to live in Crawley, my 'patrol area' was Sussex/Surrey, and I went to school at Ardingly. My parents in law used to live in Heathfield......and I married a Crawley girl too.

One of my London partners was involved in a crunch at that junction by the Vauxhall garage there (almost where the bike ended up!)
Somebody just cut right across him as he was heading away from the town. The 1 year old merc was written off!!
I used to have a client on that industrial estate that was a body shop. I had his car taken away within 10mins which bemused the other party somewhat and was convinced we were hiding something (which weren't).
No point hanging around! I then had to whizz him back up to Watford
