I know what you mean about all black but I would keep the chrome/silver part at the lower part of the trim. I have seen the 'Piano Black' and it does look very good, probably due to the gloss style finish but I am not sure that would be replicated as well with wrap?

I think it is a case of 'only time will tell'. However, that being said I feel that this will be in large part down to the quality of the wrap that is used and the technique used to apply it, having been to see the guy and spoken to him I am confident that he has a good approach and takes pride in his work.

I saw his car that he has done in a 'white carbon' finish and against a black interior it did look very good indeed. I have a sample of both the black and white carbon finishes that I am considering and am awaiting a sample of the silver carbon finish.

Will keep you updated.

Another lovely job - jury still out for me. BUT love the finish mate.

The white carbon finish might look good against all black

Paid £350. I have asked him to put together a price list for forum members as their is variance between E53 and E70 (due to the trims accessability in terms of removing). Check out the link and go to the gallery for interior wraps, it shows the white carbon. He also did a complete E53 outside wrap in white, saw pictures on his phone, very nice, about £2k......

That is dear! Think if I ever did it - I would DIY it.

Pewters did some as a test on his and not taking too much care, got some great results too!

Nice change though - how do you find the cabin (not too dark now)????

I agree it is a little dear, however, seeing the patience and technique he used I could not have done it anywhere near that quality so I would rather someone who new what they were doing rather than me bodge it. The cabin is not too dark at all I quiet like and funnnily enough so does the missus.
