I've even gone off the idea of putting a private plate on it so nobody knows it is me!!
[/quote]

I considered putting the wifes plate on, then thought about the consequences and decided no.

Im getting soft tint done on front windows and the windscreen - Then NOONE will see me!

Having said that - the Aero kit which is available in Japan only does make the car look better, I say better and not nicer...

I am putting the cherished plate on mine but only because I can't be bothered with keeping it on retention.

On a side note, I've done 100 miles all using free
Electric but have just been stung £18 to fix a picture. Would have cost the same as driving 100 miles in the X6

Thanks for clarifying that 535, I had no idea what picture he was talking about.

Thought he went through a speed camera  :camera:

Hi guys

I've been lurking in the background reading your leaf posts with great interest.

I wasn't planning to replace the wife's golf gti just yet and would never had even considered an electric Datsun. The more I read the more It became apparent the leaf was a sensible 2nd car and just too cheap a deal to let pass by. I came close to sealing a deal with Jackie chan but ended up calling too late.

When I read yesterday of Imys deal in west London,  with no delivery charge that was it. So I called Sajib this morning and slapped down the deposit.

A big thank you to Don, 535boy, the other contributors here and especially Imy!

Ah, it's all a bit clearer now. Sajib called Imy to ask if he knew Tristan as he had lost or taken down you details wrong. Well done on securing a great deal on a very capable car.

Oh crap....... gone and done it. Brother and myself have done the deed with my local dealer. Managed £500 refundable deposit on collection and £129 per month. Both in grey.

Having the rapid chargers fitted but contributing £100 SO WE CAN HAVE ONE THAT WILL FIT OTHER HYBRIDS TOO.

Brother brought it for his wife and me as i run a round. Means i can get a cheaper lease for my company car by leasing it for 10k less.

Both arriving end of March.

On top of that being a good indian boy i now have my dad moving in with us.

My drive way isnt big enough for all these cars!!!!

At this rate we will have more leaf owners than the dedicated leaf forum.

To confirm, after collection you will receive your £500 back and only pay the £129 a month?  What's the lease term?  I'm looking for a second one and your deal seems great.

I've not used mine much this week because my RS is in the shop for the week for new tyres and a wheel refurb, and I've had some longer journeys to do so I've taken the loaner.

The Mrs however has been using it which has surprised me somewhat. !!

The loaner (mine but in different colour with the std wheels)

Just got pulled by the fuzz. Apparently they don't like the sound of a V8 as much as I do!!
