I'm not as clever as you to do all this multi quoting sat on my arse on the phone.
I agree a 3 is too small
Yes possibly 12 months
Agreed Id rather hit a deer in an X or a hummer
You know what I don't even like the F series 5 series so my 535d comments have been because this at least a BMW forum!
I've been lucky to drive a number of 997 Gt3 RSs on road and track and it wasn't until then that I could see what the fuss was about on Porsches. When we looked at changing the Mrs car we were thinking about the f type but it was taking ages to launch so we ordered a boxster without driving one. Unfortunately if you get carried away like we did they aren't that cheap anymore but the 911 has shot up in price too! We had a 991 cab for a week or so because the boxster was delayed and everybody thought we would be disappointed when ours turned up and we weren't. at that level the boxster is better. I expect one day I will chop the lotus in for a 997 RS but they are atill up around £80k+ for a decent one and I can't justify that for a track toy.
Sorry to hear about the old man, would be a shame to sell it for the reason you've mentioned and they are a great way to un wind!
